Our story

A nation's first book began with the gospel

In 1550 the reformer Primož Trubar printed the first book in Slovene. Its first sentence was a prayer for all Slovenes. October 31, Reformation Day, is still a public holiday in Slovenia.

Today evangelical Christians are a small minority. The churches, ministries and missions work together through Partnerstvo Evangelij (the Gospel Partnership), which runs this website.

Pray for Slovenia

Stand with the church in Slovenia

Slovenia has 212 municipalities, and many of them have no evangelical church. Pray for the people of Slovenia, for its churches, and for light where there is no church yet.
